All defence athletes are required
to become members of the Defence Athletics Club (DAC) in order to be
reimbursed for competing in ADRAA sanctioned events.
Membership of the DAC is open to all Permanent and Reserve personnel
and members of foreign forces on full time service with the ADF.
Non-Financial Membership
Membership of the DAC carries no
membership fee, but is necessary for:
- eligibility
for reimbursement for competing in ADRAA sanctioned events where there
is an applicable entry fee

eligibility to vote at the AGM and on motions

eligibility for selection in ADF representative national and
international teams (eg, Arafura Games, Overseas Tours)

entitlement to wear the
DAC uniform

eligibility for special funding for support to athletes (eg, support
to elite athletes, support to touring teams, coaching)

details, registration must be renewed each year by 01 April.

Financial Membership (Registered Athletes)
Athletes who wish to compete in local club and State level
competition and events held by Clubs and Member Associations of
Athletics Australia, can do so as a DAC member by paying the
Registration Fee. In addition to submitting the form above,
athletes complete the membership form below. Once registered,
athletes are covered by the provisions of Athletics Australia and
eligible to compete in DAC uniform in Regional and State
championship events. Registered athletes will be given a competition
number by Athletics North Queensland.
The Registration Fee is currently set at $35 and is payment either
by cheque (directed to Athletics North Queensland) or direct
debit.
