Boyd C. Robinson AM, RAN Appointed Head of Maritime Systems in July 2007, Rear Admiral Boyd Robinson is responsible for the acquisition and sustainment of Australian Defence Force ships and submarines; related weapon systems and sensors; maritime ranges; ADF fuel and lubricants, and the disposal of major ADF maritime platforms and associated equipment. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Queensland, and a Masters Degree in National Resource Strategy from the US National Defense University. He is a Fellow of the professional accounting body CPA Australia (FCPA); a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD); a Member of the Australian Institute of Project Management (MAIPM) and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics & Transport (CMILT. He is a past Chairman of the Board of Navy Health Ltd. For his Command of the Navy Logistics Support Element during the 1991 Gulf War, he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia.
